Exciting news with our first student to reach 75 nights of home reading. How fantastic is this!
We had two birthdays to celebrate in 'Kinder Time Together' today, including one Rosella friend. We celebrated with singing, a special certificate and book mark. Happy birthday!
Rosella had our second Monster Challenge today! We had to read a description of the monster and then draw what we thought the monster would look like. Another great effort by everyone today!
It was the 'Big Veggie Crunch' today - an incentive of the NSW Healthy Kids Association. Rosella enjoyed crunching on some yummy veggies this morning!

Rosella carried out some hands on investigations today to discover how different 3D objects move. We had lots of fun exploring the different ways they can move. Please take a look!
How Do 3D Objects Move? from Sue Dowling on Vimeo. We said goodbye to one of our Rosella classmates yesterday with a class party. We will miss her very much and we wish her and all her family the very best in their move from Helensburgh. Your new school and Kinder class is very lucky to have you join them. Good luck and please take care.
We were lucky to enjoy some sport with our Kinder friends this morning before the rain set in.

Congratulations to our Rosella Achievement Award recipients at this week's K-6 Assembly. We are very proud of you!
Kindergarten performed at the K-6 Assembly for the first time ever today. They were fabulous! Here they are in action in case you weren't able to make it, or you would just love to see them singing again. Enjoy!
We had some purple monsters in Rosella today that had one eye, one horn, they could fly and they ate people!!!

In maths today Rosella investigated two 3D objects by making a mini monster and a house for our monster. A pom pom (sphere) was our monster's body and we also made a cardboard house (cube) for our monster to live in. We also investigated how these 3D objects move and recorded what we discovered in our maths journals.
Another enjoyable Dance2bfit lesson today where we learnt a complete dance after our warm up exercises. You'll see in today's dance there were sections where we were able to improvise and show off our own special dance moves! Lots of fun!
