Rosella has loved learning about the special seahorse the past two weeks. It was so exciting for us to actually see them swimming around in the tank at the Sydney Aquarium last Friday! This is what we have learnt so far.
Rosella really enjoyed this funny YouTube about the seahorse.
We also loved watching this great video of seahorses swimming, hanging on and hiding in a tank. We thought they looked so cute! It was also very relaxing to watch with the beautiful music.
Please enjoy this story 'Seahorse, Run!' at home.
Congratulations to our Rosella Achievement Award recipients announced at today's K-6 Assembly. We are very proud of you! Our award winner who was away at the last assembly also received his award today.
The white clay has now air dried, so here are Rosella's beautifully sparkling Rainbow Fish. (We needed some help from the hot glue gun to keep our sparkles on!) Rosella enjoyed the Dreaming Story 'How The Birds Got Their Colours' in History with Mrs Tipping. They were inspired to create these beautiful artworks by using a paint wash for the background and creating birds from rainbow coloured shapes. They look beautiful and are now hanging in our classroom.
We hope all our dads have the most wonderful Father's Day today. We hope you liked your card and gift, they were made with lots of love. Here is our 'Happy Father's Day' slideshow. Please enjoy and have a fabulous day.
Rosella had a fabulous day at the Sea Life Sydney Aquarium yesterday. A bus trip to the city and seeing all the sea creatures we have been studying in class made for a very exciting experience for us. A massive thanks to all our wonderful mums and dad who came along yesterday and helped keep us moving in the right direction! These are just some of the photos taken yesterday; more will be added as they come to hand.
